I decided to change ISP's.

The move happened earlier than expected and I chose to keep 3 Telkom email addresses till I have sorted the various addresses.

I think they buggered that up as well, because i received an SMS stating my wife's email address and that I should use it as a username as well as a temporary password.

I can't get it to work. I tried to setup via Outlook aswell as some webmail address I found - webmail.telkomsa dot net/

Anyone have any experience with this?
Her account does not login anymore, although my other 2 are still active.(The bugger up I referred too.)

I did the same thing quite a few years back. It was a bit of a mission trying to get them to understand what I wanted, but I still have the @telkomsa.net email address.

How/where do you logon? Is it webmail based?

I tried to phone, but the number stays engaged.

I use Outlook. Otherwise webmail.telkomsa.net works too.

Are you using the correct passwords etc? I know there can be confusion as the password of the ISP account is different to the email one.

Their instruction was to use the email address as the username and also the email address as a temporary password.
Also not sure if it will lock if I enter it a certain amount of times incorrectly.

Oh... I would suggest calling them. Or DM the twitter rep.

Did it back in December with some really old mail boxes.

They scrapped the old online123456 style login, changed it to whichever existing alias I preferred and issued a temporary password via SMS. Worked like a dream, within Thunderbird all I had to do was change the old online123456 to fredbloggs (just an example) and enter the new password when requested.

That is how I understood it to work, but alas.
They haven't converted my other accounts, so I will have to contact them again and hopefully get it sorted.
:)

I also retained my " telkomsa.net" e-mail address.
Mine is a "Do Messaging"
Just make very sure, that you have set up stand alone account, prior to moving your account.
Another problem you will have, is that Telkom is going to tell you, that you have a active account. therefor you will not, be able to cancel your account.

Well that is another battle, to convince them it is a separate, and stand alone account.
