Morning all,

AS per the title, is this possible?

I know when you want to downgrade an ISDN line to a normal phoneline, there is a specific procedure to follow. Will the same apply to have it replaced with an ADSL line?

Thanks

Just make the request for an ADSL line. A Telkom engineer will then come and do the setup, and that includes removing the existing ISDN line.

It is possible, I had it done. You will not be able to do the self setup for ADSL as that will have to be done by Telkom.

as far as i know its a simple procedure from telkom side just swapping ports at the exchange

No it isn't they need to come and remove his ISDN at his house first. He will not be able to do self install as a result. Techie will need to come out.
