I am about to order an ADSL line; the all-in-one bundles (e.g. Cybersmart) are a good deal, but I am trying to avoid being locked-in because I think that the broadband scene is going to be changing quite rapidly for the next while. If I get a bundle, what happens if I want to later change ISP? Do I lose the line and have to re-apply, or can it be transferred to another ISP ? Does anyone have personal experience here - I suspect that the reality may be different from theory, and would not like to sit without a line for x months while Telkom reconnected me at their leisure.
