I've had a US iTunes account for a number of years with tons of apps etc, all bought and paid for. Now I really want to change it to a UK account to get access to certain apps only on UK (banking mainly but others too).
The only way to do this is have zero credit in my account. Not even 1 cent, it must be zero.
Problem is, I have 5 dollars and 79 cents and Apple recommend buying something for more than your credit and using the card for the extra.
Example, buy something for 5.99.
5.79 comes from credit.
0.20 comes from credit card.
So, the US details I have are all made up, i.e. address, phone number etc don't exist and I have no credit card on file.
Short of ditching the account and starting up a brand new one in the UK, any ideas how to get rid of the credit and get my account down to zero?
