Changing the default browser to open hyperlinks in Outlook Express

A family member of mine uses outlook express as their mail client, but prefers to use firefox as their default browser. However, when that person opens a link in an email in outlook express, it always opens it with Internet Explorer. Which is more than a little annoying.

Does anyone here know where to change that setting so it uses firefox instead?

Is FireFox set as the default browser?

If so FireFox should launch when a link is clicked, mine does...

Open firefox
Click on Tools..
Option..
Main..
At the bottom it should say "System Defaults" and then "Always check to see if Firefox is default browser on startup" next to that is "Check Now" it will probably say it isn't and then ask if you want it to be, say yes and you are A for Away

Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Set Program Access and Defaults ... the rest is pretty self explanatory.
