Changing to a new exchange

So i did a line transfer from my old house to my new place (about 3 km's further away from the exchange)
What would happen if i applied for a totally new line that would maybe be closer to my new place.
I cant stand working with 384 any more.
Its not about the number for me. I just need the ADSL?

How? Do you have a UMC in the vicinity?

When you did your line transfer they would have put you on whatever exchange is appropriate for your area. Getting a new line won't change that.
