National IT distributor looking for a channel product manager in wireless division that will be responsible for developing the channel for a growing range of wireless products.
Candidates should have experience in the wireless backhaul marketplace. You will need a decent technical grounding and could currently be involved in account management, product management or business development. You should have an excellent understanding of end-to-end solutions and in addition a good technical understanding in any of the following: access points, gateways or network management would be beneficial.
An understanding of the distribution channel and experience working with ISP’s, WISP’s and solution providers is an advantage.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying sales channels and opportunities
- Account management and business development
- Defining products market fit
- Evaluating product competitiveness and positioning
- Product launches and other marketing initiatives
Ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 year experience in wireless industry
- Senior level account management experience
- Solution orientated with customer service experience
- Strong technical understanding
- Own transport
Salary range Market Related, basic plus commission
