Charge for a modem - but no modem

My father-in-law got his ADSL in December. He made sure to specify no modem, and got himself a 4-port ADSL router from a local computer shop.

He checked his latest phone bill: R400 for installation, R800 for modem. What a bunch of retards Telkom are...

I had the same. The installation paper the tech left at his place is VERY
important. Take that to Telkom and log a querrie on the account and show that as proof. And then inform them that you will only pay as if no modem
was on the account.
