Charged for Uber Trip in Toronto

Has anyone ever been charged with a false trip on Uber? I was charged $40 Canadian for a trip in Toronto, Canada last night. :wtf:

Obviously I have proof that it wasn't me.

What are my legal options here?

Go to the bank. show them your proof. Get a new CC, and wait until you get your money back.

It was via my Uber profile though. I could log into it immediately and track the trip. On Uber it only shows the last 4 digits of my credit card, so I am unsure that my credit card has been compromised. Obviously I changed my password immediately.

I will replace my credit card nonetheless.

They have responded to my Facebook post, and asked for my details. Will see what they say.

Someone has hacked your Uber account. If you've used the same password for other accounts, I'd be changing them with a turn of speed...

Yeah I have a few with the same password, but no accounts luckily - just forum logins etc.

Already got refunded - no questions asked. That was pretty fast... Still gonna delete my banking details on there, though - I'll never use it anyway. I signed up a few years ago to get a quote.
