Wondering when MTN will give us competitive data rates and why in South Africa we always have to pay so much for calls and data?
In Aus I can get 10gb of data a month for R 343
In UK I can get 15gb of data for R 180
In SA with MTN Uncapped Pro 10gb it costs R 1999
Can someone explain please explain to me the justification for this?
It looks like a huge rip off that we as consumers just put up with.
I am sure that if we compared call costs we would find similar inequalities.
Its time for MTN to realize that the future of data is to encourage users to use more and for the network to offer competitive pricing.
In my opinion the state should be offering free unlimited national broadband access and as a massive enabler to development.
