Wonder when any of those dirt cheap Chinese phones will come to SA?

The Xiaomi’s Redmi 1 sells for $120 in China.

This phone is probably better than the S4 mini that sells for about twice the price after taking tax into account.

You can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note for $160

Mabe Kalahari should bring something like this to SA.At the moment the Gobii range is the only truly cheap smartphone range in SA. Mabe they can expand the Gobii range.

Remember they haven't been certified by ICASA so you cannot legally use them. The one issue Cell C had on their network was the cheap Chinese phones that were taking down cell towers by not following GSM standard properly.
