Cheap external dvd burner case or ide to usb??

Any ideas on an external dvd burner case or perhaps a standard ide to usb converter to allow me to use an old dvd burner with my msi wind.

How much does it usually cost?

I'm in the same boat - no working CD/DVD drives on my laptops.

I've been looking, its seems the cheapest option will be to go for just the adapter, rather than the case.

Prices range from R60 to R290 depending on the model and features, but if you have an ide based dvd drive then R60 would work fine.

Another (cheaper) option.Just use your or a friends external hdd or media player enclosure,hook it up outside the enclosure.
