Does anyone know where I can get a cheap hdmi cable that's compatible with a xbox in cape town. Looking at less than R300

Just go to Game and grab the Ellies cable, I'm not sure of the price but its around R100 or so. It will be fine

Doesnt matter... 100 rand cable will give you same quality image as 500 rand cable.

Dont talk poop. Those extra special fancy shmancy connectors and accelerated vacuum moulded cabling with super extra shielding REALLY makes a difference on an error corrected digital signal... NOOOT!!!!...

EDIT: imho the only difference price makes is in the rate at which your ferral gerbil can chew through it.

what does makes a difference is cable versions.

I had to replace all my 1.3a cables with 1.3c because they were either snowy, flashing or not working at all.
