Pinnacle sells a Hauppage generic Media Centre Remote kit. The IR receiver it comes with works perfectly.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I bought a HP IR reciever from one of the forum members and it works perfectly.

Easy now boys. :) I got it from "mh348". I'm not sure if he still has anymore though. I suggest that you guys order a few fom a seller on ebay/amazon and split it accordingly.

Is it a dongle, or does it have a piece of USB cable so you could at least put it on top of a cabinet?

Cables x2. One for a power harness and one for signal.

Harness simulates a case power switch for when pc is off.

Mind posting a quick guide how you did it? Got mine yesterday.

What do you need to know? It was pretty much plug and play... Just had to tap into the micro server harness because it doesn't use standard headers.

Well, did you setup the Harmony remote as a MCE keyboard, and override the Power button by learning the command from the included remote? Or did you program the Harmony manually?

Ah ok :)

I set it up as an isonic media pc. Pretty much all the buttons worked without needing to be learned but I did some remapping to enable me to do stuff with the avr and tv while in the "watch media player" activity (eg 3d mode selection, audio mode stuff).
