Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a cheap MTN prepaid starter pack? I haven't been around the shops recently.

A web search revealed R2 packs at Dis-Chem Cellular (?). I don't know if that's still current info though. Would one buy them at their pharmacies?

Thanks.

its for free but still sell them....

pep for R1
Pick 'n pay for R2
Shoprite for 99cents

Thanks. I assume these "offers" are running? I can guarantee you one could find a place that sells them for like R200 (and people buying them..)

I would love to see shoprite give me a 1c coin change....

At the Pick n Pay in Beacon Bay here in EL it costs R0.30 for a MTN starter pack.

would these cheap sim cards work for 3g??
i wanna test out the mtn 3g signal in my area
i only ask cos a while back a salesman told me i had to buy an upgrade sim, 64k i think, for 3g. but that was 3 yrs ago.
