Cheap phone

Hi, my samsung omnia got stolen at the 2010 WC concert (guys, please be very careful during the
WC games).
I am looking for a cheap phone , under R500 to use till the end of September and then i will probably get the galaxy s.

I saw a few phones...but not sure which one is good....any advise?

Get a <R200 phone (sms and calling). What else do you need? Then enjoy the Galaxy when it comes. Spending more now will basically be a waste...

I think thats what i am gonna do...there are a few phones under R200.
Can anyone recommend one?

samsung e250 R499 @ hifi corp. has camera, bluetooth, mp3 player, gprs and memory card slot. worth the extra

dont be silly - i saw some crappy MTN branded phones at the MTN store today R199...it phones, and it has an alarm, and sms.

Dont spend a buck more than you have to, since you are getting the galaxy, and no matter WHAT you buy now, it will end up in the drawer when the galaxy comes.

go buy something crap for now.

I hope you gonna opt for insurance with the next phone. OT, look at cash crusaders or cash convertors... could even find a R50 phone there

I have all my data backed up using MITS and New PC studio, i am willing to pay a bit more if i can sync my contacts back...can this be done with the E250?

get htc s310 or somthing like that.. can pick them up on bid or buy new R800 they have full exchange active sync
