Cheap power availability testing!

I install location with routers/aps and install inverters with no smarts.

When the power is off, I have no idea its failed until the inverter power is depleted.

So I thought of buying a ZA plug with USB charging port and a SONOFF USB. R300 and I should know when the port has failed and no wiring required.

Is my thinking right?

When the power goes off the sonoff usb will go offline. I use a broadlink rmpro. It send me a notification when the power goes off.
