Cheap USB headset

I need something for this week that will work with Skype / Teams / Google Meet etc - so I guess needs to be USB.

As long is lasts a week and people can hear me through the mic, I'm happy.

Any idea where I can today and more importantly, what brand / model ?

Sound is decent and mic apparently works fine... no one has complained yet.
 
I'm using this and have never had any issues. Granted, I only use it when my kids are home. The rest of the time I dial into meetings and use my laptop's built in mic and speakers.
 
Both are online - is there anywhere where I can walk in ?
 
I got Covid last week and haven't been able to go back to the office to fetch my notebook charger or Jabra that I always use. So, it's just really until I can go back and fetch them.

Right now, I'm using my desktop and the headset I have here has no mic.

I have a meeting tomorrow morning where I Need to chat

Is there anything stopping you from using your phone? If I get caught off guard while not at home, I just pop one bud in and it works fine.

If you have to get one today, pop into Makro or IC.

I won't walk in myself - I haven't left the house :'(

The girlfriend is going to go, but I need to phone around.

I'm going to do a mock phone call with the Teams app ... if it works, then I'm fine

It works, trust me.

But do the mock call because it took me around an hour to figure out how to put it on speaker :ROFL:

If, for some reason, I've left my laptop in the wife's car, I dial in via my phone and then use my desktop to view whatever is being shared since, like you, I don't have a mic on my desktop PC. Be prepared to be asked why you're appearing twice in the list of attendees :p
