Cheap Vodacom 5GB bundles

So I was looking in my Vodacom app for discounted bundles, and found a 5GB contract bundle going for 75% discount: R88/month for 24 months.

Weirdly enough this data deal ("Red Hot promo") only showed for my LTE router sim, and wasn't available for my cellphone contract (maybe because I've loaded it previously onto my phone).

So yeah ... only snag was they gave me 3GB on a pro-rata basis now. It's still a good deal though, just for those tiny jobs.

Cant find it either, why do they do this, why can one person buy 5GB from voda for R88/month but the other can't.

I am curious how many different data bundles does Vodacom actually sell - is it AI generated from person to person? Depends on your spend? What is the threshold for getting better pricing or better bundles?

Every time I buy data I have to look through the entire selection do some math and figure out the special of the day.

You get Red Hot Offers, DATA, Vodacom Ticket, All 4 you, Video, Airtime, Voice, SMS and MY 5.

All of them have sub menus, Bundle Type, validity period and then bundle size - and some of them change daily/weekly? O yes and there are different bundles for different sims?

Then the banks sell different voice/data bundles for each provider - I am guessing the vouchers you buy from stores are the same as the banks or are they also different?

But you don't buy DATA from the banks cos that is way more expensive, you only buy airtime from the banks and convert that with the app into some usable form of DATA through all those menus.

Am I the only one that sees this as being ridiculously over complicated or have I been isolated for too long.
