Been looking at purchasing yet another xbox one controller...

The fixed price by all the major retailers being R1190.00

The price at the Indian store down the way, R899.00

"is the this an official controller or a copy product?" , Moose's voice boomed across the store,

The response being a flurry of sales talk about it being an original..

"How is you price three hundred bucks cheaper than everyone else?" , the Moose continued to question...

More sales chatter flew across the store...

" I will beat anyones price, all my games are also cheaper...." , he added...

I left the controller and store, tempted and confused.....

You okes reckon these are pirated controllers?

Possible some guys had it on special for around that price, but Difficult to tell based on interaction.

Cash crusaders sells refurbished controllers at R749... comes with a warranty to boot

If it’s older stock it’s quite possible.

Can’t really say without pictures.

You can get those third party wired controllers at Makro. Not sure if you have those up there?

Brand is PDP I think.

I don't think the risk of a counterfeit product can be too high at that price. The risk is that it's an older generation product.

It's not the sort of thing I'd buy from anywhere but a major retailer tbh.

Maybe get these
Also I stripped down my newer Xbox controller and the inside is quality compared to the DS3s of old. I had a bit of drift and my one stick had pulled out, so stripped it and put it right, good as new.
