Cheapest 3GB

Yah so i was looking to see if there is anything cheaper than R200 at the moment for 3GB cause its more likely than line cost going down.. but anyways i digress.. i found this on helkom..

3 Gig CAP on 192/64 Kbs Circuit = R100.00
3 Gig CAP on 384/128 Kbs Circuit = R145.00
3 Gig CAP on 512/256 Kbs Circuit = R195.00
3 Gig CAP on 1024/256 Kbs Circuit = R219.00

now.. why is there differnt prices for different speeds is what i wanna know.. anyways just wondering ..no idea though on capping method, looked all over site. From what is said it seems like a hard cap.. thing that is freaky is the rule about auto charge if more than one location connects which is sad if someone steals account though chance of it happing is low/should be. Anyways anyone know if its on saix/is etc ?
 
why would it cost more to use 3GB if you have a faster line?

maybe i am missing something, but 3GB is 3GB, and in this screwed up country that means its ALWAYS shaped to hell and gone.

I understand that it takes all types, but from my point of view R229 (from budgetadsl) seems a bit expensive...They dont mention if thats incl. or ex vat which makes me assume they arent vat registered (important 4 me cause i buy through a compnay)...they also dont say if you get 30gb local with that or if its going to be subject to saix's hard cap....

Please let me know if im wrong or if you have any more info cause im looking to change.

I'll contact them directly and any information i get i'll post here...

ADSL proxy.. your line will run thru a proxy over another adsl line, at the speed you choose. So you can have a 512 line but you choose the 192 speed then that's what you'll get.

Can't see why it would cost them any less to do it that way.

That sounds like a terrible miss use of technology.

Because they are buying one account from SAIX, and sharing it between four people. They are then providing the extra bandwidth using their own proxy over the unlimited local portion. This will stop 1st November with all the rest of it
