Cheapest AMD 3700+ 939

Does anyone know of a dealer that offers the AMD 3700+ Socket 939 San Diego CPU for under R1900?

you will be hard pushed to find one in SA...the main importers/dealer stopped selling them in about july 2006, i got mine from the US...maybe ask "person" he could probably import one for you

Actually Rectron and Corex still sells it, though I do not know if it is the San Diego or Venice core. I assume it's the San Diego, since they sell the rest of the Athlon64 FX series, the San Diego cores, and the 3700+ is essentially the Athlon64 FX-51.

I can get it from a Corex reseller for R2000, though I want it for R200-R300 less.

The 3700+ are normally around R2400. I doubt you could get it for so cheap

There Is no stock of the 3700+ Socket 939 San Diego CPU's Anywhere in South Africa. They came into South Africa in a limited number - and sold out Fast. I'll be able to import a few as i have orders of them, but as rburley said - they will be around R2200 -R2400

Does the 3700+ have 1mb L2 cache?
The 3500+ only has 512k
