the higher the contract
the cheaper it should be.

Is there no call rate under R1 per minute then?
I'm sure I saw something about 79c pm but I can't find the link now.Doubt it. For base call rate they are pretty heavy but don't just take the call rate as a reference. Compare the value vs minutes in contracts.
I noticed that on Top Up for example you are better off getting the Flexi Top Up contracts with a call rate of R1.80 compared to a uChoose Top Up contract that gives you minutes. If you work it out the flexi contract gives you about 11min more for the same price.
I generally advise anyone to consider a contract that gives you "inclusive" value instead of minutes. The contracts with inclusive value means the airtime can be used for premium call rates where the contracts that come with minutes charge those calls extra to the bill.
79c I think its only for prepaidI'm sure I saw something about 79c pm but I can't find the link now.

Hi all!
Can somebody please tell me which Vodacom contract has the cheapest call rates to all mobile operators?
I see so many contracts with high per minute rates on their website.
Basically he's looking at spending between R300 and R400 pm. He needs as many minutes in that price range he can get. No data is needed, just talk time.Remember that you get free minutes too.
How many minutes do you need a month? The bigger the contract the cheaper it is.
