Cheapest Diesel - Cape Town

The price of Diesel is not regulated, thus garages may charge less.

So far the cheapest I found was.

April 2013 -Caltex greenways strand/ gordons bay R11,80 500ppm, they do not have 50 ppm

April 2013- Engen 1Stop winelands R12,50 500ppm and R12,55 50 ppm

April 2013 - Total On R304 C/o bottelary. R12,80 50ppm

One of my old bosses used to fill up at a depot in Blackheath. No idea if it still exists or what the price is though.

I fill up at Caltex on the corner of De La Rey and Modderdam(Robert Sobukwe). It was R12.84 before the price hike for 50ppm, they are the cheapest I know of for 50ppm.

Fekking hell... I was paying R12.99 for 500ppm and that was the absolute cheapest I could find.

It is a fairly new garage. They had specials with their diesel when they opened, a few months down the line and their prices are still far lower than all others I encounter.
My tank is just under half, will go see what their post increase price is early next week.

I filled up today @ that Caltex. R13.12 per litre of 50ppm . Quite a saving (ave R30.00) per tank in this day and age.

I just got back from there. Filled up early. 13.12 confirmed. Lots of other places I see prices like 13.70.

looking for best price on diesel around CT CBD (home) or Epping (work) area.

Caltex Greenways in strand is the cheapest but just too far. they R10.47 at the moment i believe.

I have long range fuel tank... prob will fillup with 120 lts. So i need to shop around.
