I have some crypto on Binance which I already sold for ZAR but it seems that ZAR deposits and withdrawals will not be enabled anytime soon from what I can tell. What is the next cheapest option here? Will I have to buy crypto again with the ZAR, transfer to a local exchange, and then withdraw?

What I do is either buy BTC or ETH and send to VALR or LUNO then sell to ZAR and withdraw to my South African bank account.

log a support ticket it will manually be processed to your zar bank account

Alternatively buy XRP, send to luno for like 60c cost, sell it off into ZAR and then withdraw from there to ur bank. Usually around R8.00 for a withdrawal fee to FNB
Luno withdrawal to FNB is free these days actually, unless you want an "express" withdrawal.

+1 though, exchanging for XRP, sending to Luno and selling for ZAR is the fastest and cheapest way if Binance can't offer a proper ZAR withdrawal ... only worry I'd have is Binance's stance on delisting XRP which may come into play

True. Hopefully luno introduces TRX or something similar soon. I guess the closest would be LTC

Looks like Binance doesn't offer a XRP/ZAR trading pair, or am I missing something?

damn, never tried that, perhaps someone else can advise

I've done XRP/BTC to get crypto out, but to buy BTC in order to buy XRP if you have ZAR right now could become expensive
Wouldn't I only pay fees on the BTC trade and then do a BTC/XRP convert?

Looks like an expensive exercise either way since I paid fees on my initial ETH to ZAR trade, and will pay again to trade ZAR back to ETH or BTC.

Hoping Binance will be able to do a manual bank transfer as suggested by @Snyper564

Conversions are effectively just another combined buy and sell order so ur gonna pay fees yea

Did the manual transfer work? If so what was the cost?
