Hi guys

Is there any procedure you can follow should you have a reasonable suspicion of fuel being diluted with paraffin, or the pumps been jippo'd in the station's favour?

I'm pretty sure these incidents are not isolated incidents.

Jippod?
Take a small sample, let it sit for a while it might separate.

It's like some people don't live in South Africa, where anything is possible. Does the government not own a petrol company? PetroSA? Just wondering?

Many years ago we had a Caltex filling station near us who definitely sold 87 octane in their 93 octane pumps. Everytime I filled the non computerized Jetta with the then super (93 octane) it pinged like hell, while all the other
filling stations in the area didn't have that problem.

100% true, again, you pull up with your car, and how do YOU know what dinosaur juice they putting into your tank, or how much, or if the reading is off,
yes there are penalties and yes they get audited, but as the state capture party we had, and the revelations spoken about, that hardly matters to a morally corrupt regime.

so again, I'm the crazy one, or not so crazy, when people realise how easy it actually is to get away with it.
