Check if Note 3 is blacklisted/stolen

Hi All

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a guy to buy a Note 3 LTE model.
Prior to this or when we meet up, is there any way for me to check the phone is not stolen?

The images he has sent me shows me he bought it via MTN and includes pictures of the contract summary and proof of purchase.

Check that the IMEI number on the phone (dial *#06#) matches the IMEI number on the proof of purchase and you're good to go!

There is the smallest of small chances that he may have spoofed the IMEI as well as forged the proof of purchase, but that's the risk you take
