I am having a problem on a PVR2 I get the above error on certain channel ranges. I am using smart LNB Signal str is usually 98%, but then drops to 0% when I get the error. A simple P+ and P- gets me back a picture. This happens at least every 5-10 mins. Installer says he can not find the fault?
Any ideas welcome
Thanks

The decoder is faulty... try another one to test.
If the installer cannot find an issue, then it can only be the decoder. Installers use proper equipment in most cases to align the dish which would reveal problems.

Thanks. One thing I forgot to mention is I usually use this decoder at my other house, there I have an old 4 wire LNB. I have no issues there. But since I brought it here, this problem. The settings are correct.

I have a similar issue. I occasionally get the same error message, but changing channels doesn't resolve it. It usually just ends up in a black screen. I however don't have a Smart LNB which I believe is the cause of my problem.

I suggest posting in the DSTV forum http://forum.dstv.com/forumdisplay.php?f=70. They have multichoice representatives there that are supposed to respond to such queries.
