Check your voting status for elections 2019

I am a voter but I don't see the reason why everyone goes off on people who don't vote.

If there were absolutely no parties that I did not agree with their policies or believe they were capable of doing a job then I would also choose to abstain from voting. No votes also says something to the politicians.

Still keeps the anc in though...

Now that the BLF is a political party I wonder whether they will be able to penetrate the EFF and to some extent the ANC voters base?

Strengthen the opposition if you think ALL parties are useless. That way, you don't have thugs looting with impunity.

ja nê, that voting privilege

waiting for those first boxes of ballot papers found lying around again before the election, never really hear anything of them afterwards. even if they already had votes on them.

what measures are in place to prevent vote rigging other than the IEC? do or can parties do their own type of checks?

Thanks for the link. I shouldn't worry much, given the fact I voted at the by-election for Ward 1 in Port Elizabeth.

It took me a good 5 minutes to decide which party to vote for. I still am not convinced Cyril's ANC will be any better than Zuma's ANC... this is evident in CR "recycling" old cabinet members... so much for a "new era". I am so tired of seeing uneducated, incompetent politicians get seats of power because they have Struggle Credentials and nothing else. The DA is no better than the ANC - they too have their dirty linen (the De Lille mess). I wouldn't dare vote for opposition parties like the EFF. Thoughts of spoiling my ballot crossed my mind many times. I would like to give CR a chance, but the recent cabinet shuffle is telling me I should not expect any better from his ANC. Was not aware the BLF is a political party now.

So in the 2019 elections, I have 3 choices: I vote ANC or I vote DA or I spoil my ballot (yes I will wake up and stand in line just to spoil my ballot).

Drove past a convoy earlier, with loud hailers playing music (Aaaarrrgh!!!), etc. With DA in disarray at their stronghold, 2019 is going to be epic.

Voting da. Anc going full retard

I still believe in strengthening the opposition as we have all seen how bad the governing party can abuse its majority, the DA irritated me a lot in recent time so most likely my vote will be going to the EFF this time. DA people should continue voting for the DA to curtail the ANC majority because those long lost ANC voters will be making their way back to voting stations this time.

The problem is the eff are not better than the Anc they are worse in the short medium and long term...

But I do applaud you wishing to strengthen the opposition... it’s a great stance to have
