So today I go through my normal routine of checking my Neotel coverage. I try and check once a week or so.

Good News: :)

The coverage map has been updated. New areas are plotted and a new type of coverage map has been implemented. Coverage areas are now split up into Voice Only, High Speed Internet Access, Voice and Basic Internet Access and Voice and High Speed Internet Access. Getting ready for Neoflex? All in all, very nicely done.

Bad News: :(

THIS is my coverage.

WTH!!!!! :mad: :mad: I'm literally surrounded by coverage but don't have exactly where I live. :( Where's a crying smilie when you need one? :'(

Now if you'll excuse me, I going to repeatedly bash my head against a wall.....

At least you have coverage in your general vicinity. At home my entire map is blank :(
 
It is a shame they did not finish the website update. If you go through the application form pages and get to the page where the product is chosen it can't go on further.

You can choose high speed internet only, but the device and package can not be chosen.
 
phenom, there most definitely is an update in coverage, they almost have Wierda Park covered, i can at least get Neotel Lite (Basic + Voice) coverage.

lol, this totally, wow, what a difference, but i guess they are close to launching neoflex. about 6 monts overdue already
 
Is the green areas the ones covered for high speed internet? I just moved to silver lakes and the whole estate is green on the map, but the call center dude said it should be orange? Dont see any orange though? After 3 weeks of trying to get my adsl line moved i have finally left telkom while swearing at the sales lady. Bring on the neoflex!
 
Green is parks and other grassy areas. Neotel coverage is orange and on the new coverage maps they will be different shades of orange

My mate stays in Siver Lakes and he has a Screamer Wimax connection for high speed internet and voice which costs about the same as Neotel but is faster.

But it is not truly uncapped, it's an express uncapped. Has a 10 day rolling window.

please post the link to where you searched the map... the durban area doesnt seem to have these new features!
