Checkers online shopping bonanza

Shoprite's e-commerce platforms have been immensely successful, so much so that the company has expanded on-demand deliveries to its wholesale Cash & Carry business.

This follows the success of its Checkers Sixty60 platform, which dominates on-demand grocery deliveries in the country.
 
Around the same time, the company partnered with Discovery Vitality to offer Discovery’s HealthyFood benefit.

This hasn't yet been rolled out, I don't think.
 
I see they also started a clothing chain called Uniq or something. Popped in yesterday and while they're a bit light on stock, the quality of clothes is pretty good. I'd say around par with Woolies, or just below...

I'm pretty sure November 2019 wasn't during the height of the covid-19 pandemic considering the first covid case in SA only appeared in March 2020.
 
Maybe they need to focus more on teaching the delivery drivers beter road safety as these people are getting worse than taxi drivers.
