Checking balance - prepaid

I can only seem to check my data balance on the 4me site.
When I check balance on the Dashboard, it only shows the talking balance, being R2.19 but on the 4 me site it shows me 252 odd megs.
Question is: Is the only way to check the balance, on the 4me site?

Would appreciate some help, not looking for cocky comments.
Have checked the sticky and it only gives info on the 4me site.

Also on the 4 me site I see there is a service that can be activated:
Activate Data
Provisions you to use Data on the Vodacom network.
Must this be activated?

Send the USSD command *111#,1,6 from MDMA.

Something is definitely wrong, I bought R210 worth of prepaid and had around 240 megs, hat was last night, did a bit of browsing, no downloading and no it is finished.
How can this be right?
I have no spyware, no viruses etc, running Kaspersky and everything is up to date.

What does your dashboard say you've used, and have you only used that modem/SIM on one PC?

You can also get a record of your last 10 transactions on vodacom4me.
