Checking DATA usage on your phone?

Hey Guys

I have got a contract with MTN that has a DATA bundle included and would like to find out how I can check my DATA usage(the amount I have left) On the mobile phone.

Is there a way to do this? It does not show up with the the SMS bundle like on Vodacom!

Hi Splinter

I use mine in a modem, Its pre-paid. I take out the card and put it in a phone and dail *141# and it gives me what I have left.
I have no idea if it works the same, but its worth a try.

Huh . . . Be very carefull with MTN and data connections ! Is only a matter of time until you'll get a really BIG suprise - and the worst part is - you can't do anything about it Keep us updated . . .

then phone 16202 to check your balance (only works for MTN SP customers)
