Even if they can cap me at reasonable CAP lets say 100 gig. That would be more than enough for all users...

Well Neotel AFAIK, they do not use Telkom infrastructure at all meaning SAT3...
They delivery via Sat.

They use the TATA Group to delivery International bandwidth.

Why can MTN and Vodacom not do the same?

different technologies? i was always thinking that the gsm tech they use is more expensive to transmit data, however, dont take my word for this. though i expect atleast some improivements when they have their own backbone and dont need to rely on telkom for it. as ever, we are relegated to a wait and see attitude

@low vs reasonable prices - because they can? and they will continue doing it until neotel actually have a presence in the market. or someone builds a decent enough backbone to the up n coming seacom cable and lets loose the dogs of war!
