Hi All,
Is there a place locally that sells proper Swiss cheese Fondu sets. Not the ones you get at checkers or PnP. I can't remember what the pot is made of but looking for the original Swiss set

Cheese fondue? Are you hosting a 70s key party?

Funny I was talking about fondu with some mates this evening. None of us are fans of it, its a slow and painful process.

When we were younger, my dad would make a fondue onces a month and we all couldn't wait for it. It's a slow process as you have to put the cheese in small bits at a time and non stop figure 8 sturing but we really love the taist

Actually, these can be fun. I recall one, admittedly a decade or two ago, where the entire thing became a bit of a fireball. The lit oil container got knocked over. While a lot of alcohol was involved by all, at least I can claim Shaggy.

I did learn something that night how to put such stuff out though. You do not throw water at it.
