Went to the Cheetah centre near Haartebeesport today.
Got to stroke a cheetah.

I knew they purr, but didn't realize how insanely loud it is.:wtf:
2x knowledgeable & enthusiastic tour-guides.
They also have wild dogs, rooikat (caracal), wild cats & honey badgers.
Anyway, thought I'd report back. Definitely a good adventure for a family. Binoculars no, but a DSLR would be a good idea. Not exactly cheap (R245 pp & separate charge for touching the cheetahs), but worthwhile imo.
