Chery does it again

Have a look at some of their new models:whistle:
Link

Oh they look pretty on the outside, even on the inside. Its 2 or 3 months after you bought it that the light covers start falling off, and the electric windows stop working. A few months after that the paint starts peeling off the fender and instead of replacing the fender they touch it up. Oh and since they only have 2 or 3 service centers in the entire Gauteng and it takes up to 3 weeks to authorize a warranty replacement not to mention actually get the parts.. you're in for nightmare.

Oh and Chery's solution to fixing the light fittings was to super glue them in permanently.:wtf:

You bought a Chery? Have you no shame? :P

You bought a Chery? Have you no shame? :P

yea I bought a chery. :o We all make mistakes.

Anyway, I dumped the thing. Book value on trade in was R125 000 I had to beg someone to take it off my hands for R90 000 (even then they almost didn't). True story.

Not a very original line up!

J2 looks just like a Cerato. J3 seems to look a bit like a MG hatch from the back. P10 looks like a Toyota Quantum.

What do you mean "does it again?"

When have they ever done anything right to begin with?

I hardly think making fong-kong Kia clones is something to be proud of...

The don't even try and make the Quantum clone look any different!

You can be guaranteed that they only look alike and that the clone will probably handle like a pig, have no brakes, and fall about around the taxi driver's ears!

The third will be the P10, a 15-seater complying with the taxi recapitalisation regulations it will also be targeted at schools, hotels and the hospitality industry with a turbocharged two-litre petrol engine capable of 125kW and 235Nm.

125kW and 235Nm of torque out of a 2.0L turbo charged petrol engine?! :wtf:
It should be at least in the 150kW+ and 300Nm territory.
Either they're using very old engine technology or extremely low boost (like 2 or 3 psi instead of 8 to 10 psi).
