Hi guys

Will be purchasing a new Chevrolet Utility 1.4 Base AC as a second vehicle. Got a few queries for existing owners or anybody in the know before I go in and actually order anything. I'm also trying to get prices on the extras before I speak to the dealerships:-

[1]What is the real world fuel consumption in urban areas?
[2]Who does the best rubberized bin lining?
[3]What bin covering is the best and manufacturers of such? E.g. the fiberglass cover, tonneau or those new sliding covers.
[4]I would like nudge bars installed but not immediately. Who installs these?
[5]Which dealership in Durban gives the best customer service?

I've got the 1.4 Club and can only really answer the first question.
  1. With 4000km on the clock, I get about 10km/l and I drive it relaxed.
  2. I went with the rubber mat option, not looking back.

[1] We use one for work, 10000km. Still about 10l/100km
[2] We used Rhino Linings, it's a good quality lining
[3;4;5] Can't speak for the rest of them, I don't live in Durban

10Km per litre is very heavy. Chevrolet has always been way off on their stated consumption.

The Corsa range on which it is based were never known for decent consumption, I'm afraid.

The 1.4 Corsa engine sucked petrol like a beast. It's still the same engine in the new UTE, despite the new shape and Chev badges.
