China says toothpaste warnings 'irresponsible'

China says the FDA's warning about poison in Chinese toothpaste is "IRRESPONSIBLE" because "we have not received any report of death resulting from using the toothpaste." And it's easy to see why, to the Chinese government, a little poison in the toothpaste is no big deal. In China itself, about 300 million people -- equal to the population of the entire United States -- get sick or die each year from tainted food. And, after all, China sells a lot of poison food to the United States -- why is toothpaste such a big deal?

I dont believe those stats regarding food poisoning. Somehow I think we would notice if a 1/3rd of China`s population died every year. Though I suppose the "get sick" might be able to carry the stat. Just lumping them together seems wrong.
 
We all thought that "Made in China" label would become equal in status to the "Made in Japan" one. How wrong we were ...
 
MMmmmm... I love shinese food and eat TONS of crap that comes from there. One of my favourites is this thing I foudn once. If anyone knows where I can get more, please let me know. I was buying chinese groceries and at teh checkout the lady gave me what I thouht was a sweet. Vacuum packed in shiny plastic it looked like a candy with one side yellow and the other pink. When I put it in my mouth I was expecting sweet but got savoury. Turns out that whay I put in my mouth was a piece of cured tuna with a little bit of cheese on top. It was yummy and NEED more.....

When you die, your body will be well preserved. All those chemicals and MSG will stop the maggots eating your flesh.

Did I mention the fact that many Chinese suffer from blood pressure problems.
 
and constupation! That is why their eyes are closed, because of they are so much constupated that their eyes grew closed. Must be from the rice... :D
