China's 'web commentators' spin Beijing's message

China, which employs an army of censors to police the Internet, has also deployed legions of "web commentators" to get the government's message out -- in a crafty but effective way.

Kind of old news... Russia using same system, but function is to derail political discussions into flame wars. :erm:

I'm not surprised at all. You can almost smell the agenda most of the time when reading comments all over the internet. Not always just Communist Chinese agendas either.

American political parties do this as well, so does Apple. It really is sad that this isn't new.

The Chinese are awesome. I have great respect for a working communist government! With that said, I'm glad I don't live there.
