I've always liked afrihost and found their service and support pretty good and for the past year I've used them for my business. But due to recent events, namely their change to the MTN network their service has been unbearable and my business has taken strain with my staff not able to do their work and clients complaining and leaving.

I tried using plugg's capped account for a quick fix and they seemed pretty good and i was getting the results i should. But now I need to look for a more permanent, affordable solution. I need a 10mbps uncapped account. I'm pretty much stuck on deciding between an ISP that uses IS or mweb. I've heard IS likes to throttle and since we use a lot of bandwidth a month i'm afraid that kite wont fly and as for mweb, their upload speeds for their 10mbps adsl accounts is only 512kbps which half of what everyone is using.

Any sugestions would be great?

Openweb Gold.

I'm doing 8 gigs a day and have more than 100kB/s upload.

Shaping when the network is busy during business hours (HTTP and gaming ports still have tier 1 priority) , everything unshaped at night and weekends. They don't really care how much you use (so long as you aren't maxing out the line 24/7/365 and you don't tunnel your ports.)

Pings are amazing. <9ms for local traffic, 180ms to UK 320ish ms to US.

He needs it during business hours.

I've got no issues with shaping on IS during the day. Even updates for The Hunter, which rolls out patches via torrents, max out if I grab them in the day.

They dont look to bad. I see their "gold uncapped and shaped" and "gold uncapped and unshaped" is the same price
