I have a 4mbit line ATM, and dont know which ISP to choose?

Mainly surfing, average about 50-80GB a month on usenet, no torrents, so what do I choose?

Between Afrihost, Openweb, Webafrica and what else?

No Telkom or MWEB please.

IF you want a real bang for your buck Openweb

TelkomInternet is now driving me crazy .... is OpenWeb really the place to be?

TI is absolutely bad

just cancelled. Looking for alternatives.. may go 2meg business on AH (my budget is R400 on an account, so cant go above, sharing with another student friend, that's our budget)

Openweb is Best

i been through all of them and must be honest i am with Openweb and have been for the past 18 Mths.
may have a few teething issues as you go along but soon get sorted out.If you contact OW ...Mr Beep he may offer you a test account to see if it suits you.

I just went over to the Openweb feedback thread and there's horror stories about P2P shaping, lag in gaming etc. etc.

Sigh, seems like every ISP has it's issues.

I think you should maybe try afrihost 2mb business account. No shaping or throttling good value for money and generally there service is very good from what I have experienced
