The Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R and Asus P5K-VM Micro-ATX boards are both excellent boards and OC'ers ("490 x 6 on E6300" from OCworkbench), based on the same chipset, may be cheaper than the Gigabyte P965 DS3. Could save you some cash.

Why is the Cooler Master eXtreme 550w cheaper than the Cooler Master eXtreme 500w? Which one would be better TO BUY?

It's looking like I'm going to buy these components. I just need to check the prices

get the 550w, it's probably just a newer line. that happens.
