Chris Kilowan currently serves as Chairman of HIH Africa Limited, and Chairman and CEO at K1 Advanced Technologies Consultancy.
Chris Kilowan served as one of the MTN Group appointed directors to the first established Board of MTN Irancell from 2005 to 2007. He acted as the on the ground official representative of MTN in all ad hoc Board committees to guide the new operator through its first two years of operations. Kilowan played a role in resolving issues around obtaining building permission for the first MTN Irancell MSC in Tehran, dealing with the demands of greater use of locally manufactured equipment, obtaining work and resident permits for MTN employees after almost one year of unsuccessful attempts by the operational staff.
