Chris Nolan's - The Odyssey.

Went and watched it yesterday at the IMAX and very much enjoyed it overall.

The sound was clearly tuned by a 16 year old like it was his CitiGolf’s 6x9’s and the base entirely overbearing and blaring constantly droning out the voices.

Probably only thing I have to question on the casting front is maybe swopping Charlize with Helen of Troy which would just be a better fit overall.

Elouise or whatever her name is that now became Eric was such a non-event. Looked like just another boy soldier and wouldn’t even have noticed if not for this thread.

It was very long as all Nolan movie are, but not in a way that it felt it needed trimming just that it required some bladder stamina.

The R250 a ticket was still ****ing outrageous when I can BUY the movie and keep it permanently on Apple TV for half of that and then enjoy it exactly the way I like it tuned to my own desired perfection and most importantly I can eat what I want and pause to go take a piss which means I’ll enjoy it more overall.

So it simply cemented what I already knew that I far prefer skipping the cinema and watching movies at home.

Pretty much agree, although, the only upcoming movie I'm seriously considering spending the R250 Imax ticket for is Dune3.

But I'll need to go prepared...
