Christian group wants Devil's Peak renamed

Well it could appear as a side view of a person's face/eyes/nose, given the way the light catches the peak in that photo. Perhaps rename it then to "Yeshewa's Probosces at around 5-o'clock"?
 
Funny that they mention a previous attempt in 1996 to rename it. But not any in the conservative 80's. The old government probably laughed them out of their office.
Here's one. Have the city hold a referendum on the name - on the condition that they pay for it :twisted:

FYI. There is a precedent for a renaming. Anyone here know about Kaapsehoop in Mpumgalanga? Quiet, yet awesome town, surrounded by pine plantations and herds of wild horses. It was called The Devils Office until a petition was circulated by some church groups in the late 1800's.
I like the new one better.
 
Fine, we can change it but only on the condition that the new name is more offensive than Devils Peak. I'm currently undecided between Satans Spear Tip or F-Off-you-over-sensitive-useless-waste-of-oxygen, or Piers Morgan Mountain for short.
 
I sometimes wish the people who complain about such petty things could come see what Mybroadband think of their christian group. :D
 
It has been said many times that DA voters are a bunch of anti-revolutionary, colonialist anti-democratic racist Satanists, so why not just rename the Western Cape to the Cape of Satan, with Satan's Table mountain and Satan's peak...
