What are you making this year for Christmas? Do you have dinner on Christmas eve? Or lunch or dinner the next day?

We are having a braai with family on Christmas Day for lunch, everyone brings a dish and we all eat until we roll out the door.

Finger snacks and presents on xmas eve. Xmas day this year is a braai.

We have really cut down on the quantity of food. No more cooking for an army.

Traditional Danish dinner on Christmas Eve. Roast duck, pork, red cabbage, caramelised potatoes, sauce and then risalamande for dessert. Leftovers plus gammon for lunch Christmas day. Can't wait :)

I have lunch and dinner every day.

That sounds fascinating. Especially the caramelised potatoes. I think I need to try other people's traditions next year :)

Christmas eve and I'm in charge of the meats… turkey (cooked on a rotisserie in the weber), leg of lamb, and roasted rolled pork neck.

Probably bake some pretzels to soak up the beer while I'm watching the bird go round and round.

Completely non-traditional xmas lunch on xmas day. Prawns + Ribs + side dishes + Wine + Beer + Brandy. :D

We are tired of the one big meal thing so we will be eating all day. Foods will be middle eastern style with everything home made and so far its Pitas, Falafel, Shawarma, Kebabs, Tabbouleh, Tsatsikie, Tagina, Hummus, Meze, Some egplant thing etc and cinnamon buns for desert.
