Look, everyone got a little upset when Christopher Nolan moved away from directing Batman films and onto other interests. But now that there’s a full trailer for Interstellar—the movie he’s been working on under cloak and dagger for more than a year—all is forgiven.

Why? Because this movie looks out-of-this-world amazing. The new trailer for the film, which will be showing before Godzilla screenings this weekend, finally throws open the doors on what, exactly, Nolan’s new film is about. The gist: A global food crisis has left Earth in a dire situation, and Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a pilot and engineer who turned to farming to feed his family, has been called on to go on an expedition to find a new place for humanity to live. Or, as Michael Caine’s character tells him: “We’re not meant to save the world, we’re meant to leave it.”

Looks interesting.

This doesn't seem at all Nolan like. Would still watch though.

Meh. It's not original. I've seen something like this in Mass Effect 1.

Move over Nolan here comes Brad Bird and Clooney.
