Chrome Flash crashes

Some random info I just picked up:

If you're getting crashes on Flash, check that you've got only 1 copy of flash activated.

Go here:

chrome://plugins/

And check whether it says (2 files next to flash). If yes, select details at the top right & disable one. The google team is generally faster than anybody else when it comes to security patches, so disable the one that isn't in the chrome folder.
 
I noticed that their GTalk Video plugin would crash when testing the video settings in GMail using the built in Flash and only worked if I installed the standalone version of FLash and disabled the built in one.
 
I am not sure if this is the same problem but on my wifes pc only one site would crash every time she went on it which was very annoying. I found she was on an older version of Google Chrome and the update would not work. I used IE to look for Google Chrome and re-installed it and we went from Chrome 11 to chrome 16 and no crashes.

I've had the chrome flash crash occur so many times I almost jumped ship to firefox. This fix, it it works, is a godsend. Thanks HavocXphere.
