I think the chromecast is awesome, but there is one f@cking frustrating problem I usually have after load shedding, internet down for some reason etc. It will then for some reason or the other not connect to my router(internet). That will sometimes want me to ****ing torch the thing with a flamethrower.
But, then all of a sudden it will work the next day, wtf![]()

Just bought a Chromecast.
So I'm trying to access different Google play stores using UnoVPN on my GalaxyS5. I made a US google account (or so I thought), and managed to use their VPN which checked out using whatsmyip.org, IP was a Los Angeles address. But then loading up the play store, the apps had "AED" as the currency?! United Arab Emirates Dirham?! Anyone got this to work? I have no clue what I've done.
I even tried creating a new google account once on the US VPN, and the play store will gave me UAE currency and their ****ty apps.
EDIT: Eventually got it all working on my Galaxy Note tablet using the UnoVPN to first create hook onto the UK vpn, then create a UK google account on the Note (accounts -> google -> create new), clear cache and data from the Play store app, which then allows you to see the UK Play Store and download the apps you want, in my case, BBC iPlayer. I did the same for US VPN, to download Netflix and Hulu. You then only need to block the google DNS settings hardcoded on the chromecast on your router and then use the regular unotelly DNS settings from there on out. Works like a bomb!
Never even heard of it...Why didn't you just use Aptoide for region restricted apps?
